Rihanna scores impressive Xmas sales

Rihanna has scored impressive sales of her latest album over the Christmas period.
The singer, whose fifth studio set is called Loud, sold more than 300,000 copies of the LP in the last seven days, keeping her in second place on the chart behind Take That’s Progress.
Posting on her official Twitter page, she wrote: “306,107 this WEEK in the UK! You sneaky little fans you! I love u guys, Thank you!!! Santa was good to me…”
The sales boost takes Loud’s total sales tally to 820,000 in six weeks. It has now become the fourth best-selling album of 2010, behind Take That, Michael Bublé’s Crazy Love and Lady GaGa’s Fame Monster.
