Rihanna admits “Umbrella” did wonders for her career

When Rihanna recorded “Umbrella” she probably had no idea what wonders the song would do for her career in more ways than one.

Rihanna revealed to “Q magazine” that the song landed her an umbrella deal, states Digital Spy. “I did have a deal with an umbrella company and they had a range of very good umbrellas,” Rihanna says about the unexpected deal that came after the song.

So while it may seem odd considering she grew up in sunny Barbados, Rihanna will always be thankful: “I am very grateful to the umbrella for what it has done for my career.”
