Eminem & Rihanna beat Matt Cardle for biggest selling UK single of 2010

Eminem & Rihanna have topped the end of year charts in the UK with their single “Love The Way You Lie” being announced as the biggest selling single of 2010.
The pair who released the track in July beat off the X Factor winner Matt Cardle with his Christmas number one single “When We Collide” and Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are” to top the chart. Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In The World)” and Usher and will.i.am’s “OMG” finished fourth and fifth respectively.
“Love The Way You Lie” has sold over 820,000 copies in the UK alone to date.
Take That’s “Progress” was the biggest selling album of the year, selling an amazing 1.23 million copies. Michael Buble, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Plan B makes up the top 5.
